Women in Transition

girl_drinking1.jpgThe Life-Work Discovery model has been proven to work especially well with women in transition. In the seven years since our inception, we have often wondered why this was true. Perhaps women are more open to change, more open to asking for help, more able to create support systems for themselves and others. In any case, we’ve stopped trying to find “an answer” and begun to work even more intensively with this target audience.

Future Design Studio focuses on three groups of women:

  • Women contemplating a divorce, in the midst of a divorce or in recovery from a divorce.
  • Women who have recently been widowed.
  • Women whose children have left home to start their own lives.

Women in transition face profound issues of grief and loss that must be addressed as they emerge from crisis to redesign and rebuild their lives. Financial security, re-entering the job marketplace or, perhaps, even starting a business or consulting practice emerge as additional issues.

As a chaplain as well as a career guide, Neal Griebling is particularly suited to help clients work through these issues. His chaplaincy enables him to work effectively with the “blocks and barriers” that hold people back from their dreams and highest aspirations. His coaching provides education, training and proven strategies to help people find right livelihood. Neal guides women to address and surmount the obstacles that stand in their way of success.

To help serve the multiple needs of his women clients, Neal has assembled a team of Strategic Partners for Women in Transition who can offer a diverse menu of services to help clients successfully grapple with real life issues and move forward to create meaningful lives and careers. His partners include: divorce attorneys, certified divorce analysts, financial planners, real estate professionals, fitness trainers, energy workers, therapists and other professionals.
